Text to Audio Online ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at text-to-audio-online.vercel.app and the Text to Audio Online Chrome extension. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

• Google account email — collected when you sign in with Google. Used to identify your account and enforce daily usage limits.
• Blog URLs and text you submit — sent to our server for text-to-speech conversion. We do not store the content of your blog posts after conversion is complete.
• Conversion metadata — we log the date, language, voice used, and word count of each conversion to track daily usage limits. We do not store the audio files on our servers.

Chrome Extension

The Chrome extension stores your authentication session (access token, refresh token, email) locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device except to authenticate with our server. The extension reads the active tab's URL only to pre-fill the input field — it does not access page content or browsing history.

Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth — for sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — for authentication and database. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics. No personally identifiable information is sent.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the service.

Data Retention

Conversion metadata is retained indefinitely to support usage history. You can request deletion of your data by emailing us.
